Staff was friendly. Location was near a restaurant.
I thought the price of room was high.
Ice machine was not working....and because it is in multiple buildings..didnt want to walk to another one late at night
Poor breakfast items need better juice, and fruits
location easy to find
Made reservations and paid for king size bed and ended w queen size n sofa bed. Had to go n get bedding n pellow attened not very nice about it.
the rooms were great for the price and it was easy to find. The gentleman at the front was very helpful
The beds were really hard. Didn't sleep very good and my whole family felt the same way. The breakfast was nice but there was no one to serves things. Like they ran out of milk by 8:30 and was never refilled. Also the Apple juice machine never worked and the OJ machine tasted like it was old. The pool was freezing. My kids could not even swim. It needs a heater plus the hot tub was not working.
Spacious breakfast area. Quiet A/C. Stool and shower separate from sink area.
We booked on line but when we arrived, the front desk wanted to charge us $20.00 more per night than we had booked the room for on line. Adjustments were made. Wish that a map of Newton and area would have been available. We did get one at the Kaufman Museum.
The facility was dingy, old and the pool was dirty and freezing. It was advertised as a heated "Tropical" pool with a hot tub. The hot tub was empty and the entire "kids play room" was empty, cold and smelled dirty.
I was very impressed with friendliness and cleanliness!
Maintenance was very rude. The fridge did not work and he was very upset when we said that we wanted it replaced with one that worked. That was one of the reasons we selected that type of room. The continental breakfast was terrible. Every time that we went to breakfast we would have to go find an employee so that they could bring enough food for everyone standing around waiting, along with other people staying there. They closed the breakfast early also. The shower would run cold and hot. The temp would not stay the same.
EZ off EZ on from interstate
Was not bad but it is an older motel. Looks very tired on outside.
Location Room was quiet It was clean
Mattress was poor - we kept rolling to the middle of the bed. The hot tub was not working - huge disappointment since it was 14 degrees outside. There was no ping pong table like their website showed. The shower kept changing from warm to hot, then cold.
I like they were able to help when I really needed it. The bed was real comfy!
The water was cold when I showered. The maid tried to walk in while we were sleep bout 815am. Scared me and my daughter!!! Don't like there's not a bar!
The girl that I checked in with in was very pleasant and helpful.
At 6am after spending the night in the hotel I went to my car. When I returned to my door (outside entrance & 2 degrees out) the key card would not work. I went to get a new key and no one was at the office. I went and got in my car and waited by the office door for 45 minutes as I could see the keys were hanging in the lock on the inside if the glass and the phone was lighting up when I called. I drove around the building to see if the staff was doing something elsewhere, calling repeatedly, and knocking on the door many times I thought there must be something terribly wrong. I began to look up the police dept number to see if maybe they could locate the owner. As I was searching for the number the front desk the clerk pulled up. I told her I had been locked out of my room for 45 minutes. She said, oh sometimes the cold makes the keys stop working. When I asked if they usually leave the hotel unattended for the night she said yes. Even though breakfast starts at 6:30 and you are getting here at 6:45? Then she admitted she was late. I told her this 45 minute wait outside could have been very dangerous if I had not been able to get into my car or had not been dressed. None of this phased the clerk or the manager. To them it was no big deal - I was locked out of my room and I got back in - get over it. They wanted to blame me for possibly putting my key card near a magnet and not even acknowledge the fact that there was no staff at the hotel and I missed my appt. and would now have to stay another day. Their response if that there is nothing they could do. If you decide to risk staying here make sure you have a phone because the phones in the rooms don't work, which probably eliminates the night time calls revealing that no one is there. This hotel was about $20 cheaper than the one down the street but ended up costing me a 4 hour drive and another overnight stay to make the appt. I missed so it may or may not be worth the savings. Definitely not for me.
Breakfast was bad, very little food and always running out.
