great spot for exploring nearby attractions and parks
during my stay, I loved that I was just a short walk from Blue Sky Sculpture and only a little over 4 km from the Kauffman Museum, which made for a delightful weekend of wandering and taking in the sights of the area.

the hotel was decent, but the outside was pitch black upon arrival, making it feel like a horror movie! also, i couldn't help but notice the poor water pressure in the shower, how charming! i was really expecting a complimentary upgrade for all my troubles, but alas, the staff seemed too busy to care. almost gave it a good review, but just couldn't.

historic charm, updated room features, spacious indoor courtyard
Dated furnishings could use a complete overhaul!!! Parking lot lights need better illumination for safety!!! The indoor pool's closure was disappointing, considering its potential charm!!!

The rollercoaster I didn’t see coming
The manager's friendliness and the nostalgic charm of this location were highlights during my visit! Clean rooms and great service made for a cozy stay after a long drive.
In contrast, it was disheartening to see many past amenities missing, and the decreasing visitor numbers have surely taken a toll on this once-thriving establishment.

The room was clean and the bed comfortable, with a functional microwave and refrigerator that were a pleasant surprise. The central location made it easy to access nearby attractions, enhancing our overall experience. However, some amenities seemed to be lacking, and the exterior appeared somewhat dated. It's clear that the establishment is navigating challenges, impacting its vibrant history and offerings.

Found the room clean and comfortable, with a good working AC and bright towels. The indoor pool area is spacious and enjoyable. However, it seems the hotel may be losing some charm, as several amenities were out of order and the overall feel was dated.
